Vayessa release notes
What’s new.
What’s getting better.
The small refinements that make room for a better story. Explore the updates in Vayessa 1.0.0, build 71.
1.0.0
Build 71Three plans, one app.
- Free keeps everything you need to make and share a slideshow: editing, photos and video, timeline, collage, beat sync and voice recording. Exports go up to 1080p and end with a short "Made with VAYESSA" card.
- Pro adds 4K, HEVC and ProRes export without the closing card, motion templates, Lottie animations, photos inside text, brand kits and the Output Window.
- Studio adds AI control from Claude, Codex, Gemini and ChatGPT, and AI voice-over with ElevenLabs. Compare plans.
- Activate a license in VAYESSA > License: paste the VYS- key from your email and choose Activate. One key works on 2 Macs; deactivate it on the old Mac to move it. The key is kept in the macOS Keychain.
- New theme Elegant Blur: each photo fades in through a soft blur over a dim, blurred copy of itself, with a slow breathing camera and a round vignette. It comes with the Elegant Blur Dissolve transition, a Blurred photo (dim) background, and the Camera breathe and Circle vignette looks.
- Audio editing on the timeline: Split cuts a clip at the playhead (S), Trim start and Trim end cut it to the playhead, and Length and From set the trim exactly. Shift-click clips and choose Merge (M) to join them into one.
- The welcome screen no longer covers your Recent list, and the installed app only runs its own signed, unchanged files.

Themes > Elegant Blur, then export a short 1080p video.
0.9.2
Build 60A clearer path to the right voice.
- Fixed: choosing a Voice Library voice (for example AFIFAH) on a free ElevenLabs plan said "characters used up". It now says that the free plan cannot use Voice Library voices from other apps, and to pick a default voice or upgrade.
- The voice list shows the default voices first and marks Voice Library voices "Voice Library, paid plan" when your plan is free or unknown.

Timeline > AI voice-over: pick a default voice (not marked Voice Library) and generate one Bahasa Melayu line.
0.9.1
Also included in the release notesMore reliable voice-over. Better captions.
- AI voice-over works with an ElevenLabs key that has limited permissions. If the key may not read your plan or the model list, VAYESSA still lists the voices and speaks, and says which permission is missing instead of "ElevenLabs refused the key".
- Voice captions keep the last word of a sentence with its line, so no word is left alone on screen.
Try it in Vayessa
In ElevenLabs, make a key with only Text to Speech and Voices allowed, paste it in Timeline > AI voice-over, and generate a line.
Every update is a chance to make creating with Vayessa feel a little smoother. Have an idea for your next story, or something you’d love us to improve? We’d love to hear from you.
